Grand rally for world peace tomorrow

Vijayawada: Amidrising global conflicts, increasing tensions between nations, and the tragic loss of innocent lives, the need for peace has become more urgent than ever. In this backdrop, preparations are in full swing here to organise a massive peace rally titled “No War… Rally for World Peace.”
The rally is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, beginning from the Ambedkar Statue on Mahatma Gandhi Road and concluding at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium.
As a precursor to the rally, a poster launch event was held here on Sunday, marking the formal beginning of the peace campaign. Prominent personalities from various religions and social groups, along with representatives of different organisations, participated in the event and emphasised the importance of promoting global peace.
Organisations such as the Federation of Telugu Christian Churches, Buddhist Monks Union, and Jamaat-e-Islami Hind extended their support and actively took part in the programme. They stated that unity among people of different faiths for the cause of peace sends a strong and positive message to society.
