IRCTC announces ‘Divya Dakshin Yatra’

Vijayawada: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), South Central Zone, is operating a special ‘Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train’ titled ‘Divya Dakshin Yatra – Arunachalam–Kanchipuram–Mahabalipuram (SCZBG60)’.
The train will depart on April 27 from Visakhapatnam and complete the tour on May 4, covering 7 nights and 8 days.
The tour covers major spiritual and heritage destinations including Kanchipuram (Kamakshi Amman Temple, Ekambareshwara Temple and Varadaraja Perumal Temple), Mahabalipuram (Shore Temple and Krishna’s Butter Ball), Rameswaram (Ramanathaswamy Temple), Madurai (Meenakshi Amman Temple), Tiruchirappalli (Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple), Thanjavur (Brihadeeswara Temple), and Tiruvannamalai (Arunachalam Temple).
Passengers can board and deboard at Visakhapatnam, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu Junction, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, and Gudur.
The tour package is offered in Economy (Sleeper Class). The cost per person is Rs 14,700 for adults and Rs 13,800 for children aged 5 to 11 years. The package includes accommodation in non-AC budget hotels and transportation by non-AC vehicles. The package also includes vegetarian meals such as morning tea, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with travel insurance, professional tour escort services, and assistance from IRCTC tour managers throughout the journey.
