Bhimavaram: “VaibhavaBharatham” meet of eminent personalities was held at K Convention on Sunday under the aegis of the West Godavari district unit of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as part of its centenary year celebrations. Prominent personalities and intellectuals from various fields across the district participated in large numbers. Addressing the gathering as the chief speaker, RSS AP Prant Pracharak Vijayaditya called for transformative changes in society as the organisation completes 100 years.

He urged citizens to adopt five key principles in their lives: social harmony, family awareness, environmental protection, promotion of the indigenous lifestyle and civic responsibility.

“Building a society free from caste discrimination and preserving the Indian family system is the responsibility of all,” he said. Vijayaditya also stressed the need to reduce plastic usage, conserve water and promote plantation drives as a mass movement. “The country’s economy can be strengthened through the use of indigenous products,” he said, adding that a disciplined society that prioritises duties over rights is essential.

Vibhag Sanghchalak Manthena Ramachandra Raju and Vibhag Karyavah Veerabhadra Raju attended as chief guests. Union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, RSS members and representatives of various social organisations were present.
