Mumbai: Actress Ileana D'Cruz stirred up a light-hearted debate on social media after unapologetically expressing her love for a controversial food combination — pepperoni and pineapple pizza. Sharing moments from her “homemade pizza night” on Instagram, the actress revealed her unconventional topping choice, making it clear she stands firmly by her taste.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Ileana posted a picture of a freshly made pizza topped with pepperoni and pineapple. Alongside the image, she wrote, “Yes that's pepperoni and pineapple. Yes we like it. No we don't care if you judge us,” boldly defending what many consider an “unpopular food opinion.”

Earlier this month, the actress had also shared glimpses of her longing for beachside serenity. Posting a series of images, she expressed her love for the sea, writing captions like “Need this” and “And so much of this,” alongside pictures of herself walking towards and floating in the water. In another post, she described herself as “honestly happiest on a beach, salty hair tanned skin,” while sharing a photo of herself in a purple bikini. A subsequent post from home saw her remark, “Most definitely need a tan.”

Ileana made her acting debut in 2006 with the Telugu film Devadasu and went on to feature in successful South Indian films such as Pokiri, Jalsa, Kick, and Julayi. She also appeared in the Tamil film Nanban.

The actress entered Hindi cinema with Barfi!, directed by Anurag Basu, and later starred in films like Main Tera Hero, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, Happy Ending, Mubarakan, Pagalpanti, The Big Bull, and crime thrillers Rustom and Raid.
