The heartwarming incident took place at the Attari-Wagah Border during the special event ‘Jai Ho – A Musical Salute to the Bravehearts’, where Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman performed live in tribute to the Border Security Force (BSF). The event was organised as part of the promotional campaign for Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film Main Vaapas Aaunga.

Main Vaapas Aaunga is set against the backdrop of the 1947 Partition and explores themes of love, longing, memory and belonging. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 12, 2026.
