Filmmaker Anshul Sinha brings a thought-provoking narrative to the screen with his Hindi feature film Million Views, a project that explores the hidden dangers behind the pursuit of online fame. In a digital era where popularity is often measured through likes, shares, and views, the film sheds light on the emotional and psychological cost of chasing viral success.

At the heart of the story is Shivani, a young woman who finds herself trapped inside a risky live-streaming platform. She is given just 90 minutes to reach one million views, pushing her into a high-pressure situation where every second becomes crucial. What initially appears to be a simple digital challenge soon turns into a tense struggle between survival and self-respect, forcing Shivani to question the price of visibility in the online world.

One of the film’s standout elements is its real-time storytelling format. The entire narrative unfolds within a 90-minute window, mirroring the fast-paced and unforgiving nature of social media culture. Through this structure, the film highlights the psychological pressures faced by individuals seeking validation on digital platforms and the emotional toll that accompanies constant public scrutiny.

Million Views was developed over three years and involved more than 250 cast and crew members, reflecting the scale and dedication behind the project. The film has already completed a theatrical run across more than 60 screens in Nepal and has attracted significant media attention.

Having earned recognition at over 100 national and international film festivals, the film is now preparing for its next phase, with discussions underway to secure an India release partner and reach a wider audience.
