‘Rakasa’ introduces Rs 100 ticket offer to boost family footfalls

After witnessing a steady run at the box office, the Telugu entertainer Rakasa has announced a special initiative to attract more audiences. Starting April 10, the film will be screened at a flat ticket price of Rs 100 across all single-screen theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The move comes as the film continues to gain momentum in theatres, with family audiences emerging as the biggest contributors to its success. Positioned as a light-hearted entertainer, the movie has struck a chord with viewers looking for a fun and relaxed theatrical experience.
Reports from various centres suggest that families are visiting theatres in large numbers, with many audiences returning for repeat viewings. The film’s cross-generational appeal has played a key role in sustaining its run, as children enjoy its imaginative elements while adults connect with its humour and entertaining moments.
Performances in the film have also received appreciation from audiences. The comedy track featuring Sangeeth Shobhan and Getup Srinu has generated strong reactions in theatres, while Vennela Kishore has been praised for his impeccable comic timing.
The Rs 100 pricing strategy is expected to further increase theatre footfalls, especially in B and C centres where single screens play a major role in audience turnout.
Produced by Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal under Pink Elephant Pictures in association with Z Studios and directed by Manasa Sharma, Rakasa continues its theatrical run with growing audience support.
