Mumbai: Actor Saqib Saleem marked his 38th birthday with a heartfelt note, expressing gratitude towards his parents and sister Huma Qureshi, whom he described as his “asli Kaptaans” and guiding force in life.
Taking to Instagram, Saqib shared a series of pictures, beginning with a behind-the-scenes still from his latest project Kaptaan, where he appeared in a police officer’s role. The image carried a text overlay highlighting that before portraying a ‘Kaptaan’ on screen, he was shaped by the real leaders at home.
He followed it with a photograph of his father, calling him the “first Kaptaan” he ever knew and someone he continues to look up to. Sharing a picture with his mother, the actor described her as the “strongest Kaptaan,” adding that despite having no uniform or badge, she runs the entire system with strength and resilience.
