Aumora Music launched in Mumbai: Sameer Anjaan backs platform empowering new artists

A new chapter in India’s music landscape began with the grand launch of Aumora Music, a label introduced by Sameer Anjaan under the banner of Samarya Creation at a star-studded event in Mumbai. More than just a label launch, the event celebrated an inspiring journey of emerging talent and the promise of fresh voices in the music industry.

One of the most moving highlights of the evening was the story of a young rapper who once worked as a delivery rider for Zomato and is now stepping into the music world. His journey from delivering food orders to recording songs reflects the core vision behind Aumora Music—providing a platform for passionate artists with authentic stories to share. The budding artist will now receive mentorship from veteran lyricist Sameer Anjaan, who has written more than 4,000 songs across over 640 Hindi films.

Speaking at the launch, Sameer Anjaan said the label aims to focus on meaningful music rather than simply increasing the number of releases. “Aumora Music is about building a home for artists who have something genuine to express. Music should last beyond trends,” he stated.

The label already has a strong digital presence, currently hosting 19 tracks across more than 150 streaming platforms, with over 150 original compositions ready for release. The catalog will span multiple genres including Bollywood, devotional music, folk, rap, children’s music, and contemporary pop.

Musicians Neil Gandhi and Niraj Vishwakarma will drive the creative direction of the label. The duo shared their plans to nurture emerging artists through mentorship, collaborations, and structured development.

Looking ahead, Aumora Music plans an ambitious expansion. By 2028, the label aims to release more than 500 original tracks, conduct live tours in major Indian cities, and organize international concerts for the diaspora in regions such as the UAE, the UK, and North America.

With its artist-first philosophy and strong mentorship, Aumora Music hopes to redefine how emerging musicians find their voice in India’s evolving music ecosystem.
