Eva Longoria’s life has been about entrepreneurship especially with women

Hollywood actor and producer Eva Longoria says she is currently concentrating on new ventures beyond traditional acting, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship and empowering women through her initiatives.
Speaking recently, the actress revealed that much of her work now revolves around supporting women—particularly Latina entrepreneurs—through her foundation and business ventures. Longoria noted that entrepreneurship has become a significant part of her life’s mission, as she aims to create opportunities and guidance for aspiring women leaders.
Alongside her professional pursuits, Longoria said she is motivated by the desire to set an example for her young son, Santiago, often called Santi. She explained that balancing long work hours with motherhood sometimes requires explaining to her son why she leaves early and returns late. According to Longoria, once she told him she was “pursuing her dream,” he understood her commitment and now frequently asks whether she is going to work on her dream. The actress is also expanding her television presence with a new culinary travel show titled Searching for France, part of her ongoing collaboration with CNN.
The series follows her earlier food travel programs exploring different cultures and cuisines in countries such as Mexico and Spain. Longoria described the experience as an enjoyable journey that allows her to explore global cuisines while sharing cultural stories with viewers. As a self-proclaimed Francophile who also speaks French, she said she was eager to create a series centered on France and successfully pitched the idea to the network. Longoria has often credited the strong women in her family for shaping her confidence and career ambitions. Growing up surrounded by her mother, sisters, aunts, and numerous female cousins, she says she witnessed examples of independence and success from an early age. Today, Longoria hopes to continue inspiring and mentoring women who aspire to build their own careers, emphasizing that entrepreneurship can be challenging but ultimately rewarding for those determined to pursue their dreams.
