Telangana Inter Results: Medchal tops while Mahabubabad stands last

The Intermediate First and Second Year results for the 2025-26 academic year were declared in Telangana on Sunday. The results were released by Government Advisor K. Keshava Rao and Education Secretary Yogita Rana.

This year, a total of 997,075 students appeared for the examinations, which were held from 25 February to 18 March. Among them, there were 489,126 First Year students and 507,949 Second Year students. Of these, 489,123 First Year students and 358,490 Second Year students successfully passed.

Notably, the pass percentage has seen a significant rise compared to the past five years:

- 2022 First Year: 64.86%, Second Year: 68.68%

- 2023 First Year: 62.85%, Second Year: 67.27%

- 2024 First Year: 61.08%, Second Year: 69.49%

- 2025 First Year: 66.91%, Second Year: 71.43%

- 2026 First Year: 66.94%, Second Year: 75.61%

District-wise, Medchal topped the list in the First Year category with a pass rate of 77.31%, while Mahabubabad recorded the lowest at 44.91%. In the Second Year exams, Medchal again led with an 82.73% pass rate. Jayashankar Bhupalpally district had the lowest pass percentage in the Second Year, with only 20% of students passing.
