From street flavours to cold brews: SOCIAL captures Hyderabad’s food mood

The Local Heroes menu inspired by Telangana and Andhra-style street food
In a city like Hyderabad, where food is equal parts memory, routine, and identity, Mindspace SOCIAL is tapping into that emotional rhythm with two new menu drops that feel both rooted and refreshingly current.
It's latest menu additions feel instinctively in sync with Hyderabad’s rhythm. With the introduction of the Local Heroes menu and a creatively driven Cold Brew lineup, the café-bar expands its role from a casual hangout spot to a space that mirrors how the city eats today.
The Local Heroes menu inspired by Telangana and Andhra-style street food, it celebrates flavours that are bold, nostalgic, and deeply familiar. The approach isn’t about reinvention—it’s about elevation. Dishes like Gunpowder Paneer and Bandi Style Karam Podi Mushroom capture the spice-forward intensity of street-side favourites, while Classic Bobbara Garelu offers a crisp, comforting bite that instantly feels like home. Paneer Ghee Roast adds richness, and staples like Apollo Fish and Loose Prawns deliver the kind of addictive, no-frills flavour Hyderabadis keep coming back for.
As you move into the mains, the menu leans fully into comfort. Pesarattu Kodi Vepudu and Hyderabadi Creamy Coriander Chicken bring depth and balance, combining robust spice with creamy textures. The Mudda Pappu Annam stands out as a simple yet soulful dish—warm, ghee-laced, and deeply satisfying. For something more indulgent, the Pachimirchi Paneer Pulao offers a layered heat, while Potlam Biryani and Chicken 65 Biryani round off the experience with richness and scale. It’s the kind of food that’s best shared, encouraging long meals and even longer conversations.
Complementing this is the Cold Brew menu, which feels thoughtfully designed for Hyderabad’s climate and pace. It moves beyond standard coffee offerings, introducing a range that caters to both minimalists and experimental drinkers. The OG Brew and Rise and Grind provide a smooth, reliable base for those who prefer their coffee classic. But the menu quickly shifts into more playful territory.
Drinks like the Box Office Brew, with its buttery, popcorn-like notes, add an unexpected twist, while Brew in Mint Condition is light, crisp, and ideal for a refreshing break. The fruit-forward Berry Cold Brew and the uniquely local-leaning Banarasi Brew—infused with sugarcane sweetness and a hint of lime—offer bright, easy-drinking options. On the indulgent end, creations like Miss Know-It-Brew with caramel and sea salt, Irish Dream Team with Irish cream and banana, and LA Isla Bonita Brew with coconut and cinnamon blur the line between beverage and dessert.
Together, these menus reflect a thoughtful understanding of how Hyderabad eats and socialises. There’s a clear duality at play—hearty, nostalgic dishes paired with lighter, experimental drinks—allowing diners to transition seamlessly from a quick lunch to an extended evening hangout.
