Sexual Medicine Society of Telangana launches 2026 chapter
The Sexual Medicine Society of Telangana (SMST) has officially launched its 2026 chapter in Hyderabad.
The Sexual Medicine Society of Telangana (SMST) formally launched its 2026 chapter at a function held at Hotel Abode, Lakdikapul, Hyderabad, with the induction of its new executive committee.
Dr G. Venkataramana assumed office as President, while Dr Raghavender Kosgi took charge as Secretary. The newly elected council members also took the oath of office during the inaugural ceremony.
Dr Srinivas Goud, representing the Telangana Medical Council, attended as the chief guest, while Dr Pusha Darbha was the guest of honour. They congratulated the newly elected team and stressed the need for promoting scientific awareness on sexual health and addressing misconceptions prevalent in society. The Society said it aims to enhance public awareness on sexual health, provide doctors with the latest scientific knowledge, and encourage evidence-based practices in the field of sexual medicine. It also seeks to dispel myths and reduce the stigma surrounding sexual health issues.
With the theme “Yesterday – Today – Tomorrow,” the Society pledged to work towards creating greater awareness on sexual health and contributing to the development of a healthier and better-informed society.
