Maharashtra Police have significantly increased security at the family home of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke in the Waluj MIDC area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
The security deployment was upgraded from a single guard to a team of ten police personnel and one officer.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 1) Pankaj Atulkar stated that the security cover was expanded to prevent unnecessary crowding following Dipke's arrival in India from the United States to lead the Jantar Mantar protests.
DCP Atulkar also noted that Dipke's parents are not currently staying at the residence and further manpower will be deployed if necessary after a routine review.
