Five Judges take oath as permanent judges at AP High Court

Five judges were sworn in as permanent judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court after receiving presidential approval. Chief Justice Lisa Gill administered the oath at a ceremony attended by members of the judiciary and legal fraternity.

Five judges have taken office as permanent judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
Chief Justice Lisa Gill administered the oath to Justices Kuncham Maheswara Rao, Thoota Chandra Dhanasekhar (TCD Sekhar), Challa Gunaranjan, Avadhanam Hariharanatha Sarma and Dr Yadavalli Lakshmana Rao on Monday. The ceremony took place in the court’s first courtroom before a full bench.
Their appointments followed approval by President Droupadi Murmu and a notification from the Union Ministry of Law and Justice.
High Court judges, Bar Council representatives, members of the Advocates’ Association, senior advocates, judicial officers and officials attended the ceremony.
