Applications invited for pre-primary school instructors in 275 city schools

Hyderabad: The government of Telangana has announced the commencement of pre-primary classes in 275 primary and upper primary schools across Hyderabad district for the academic year 2026–27. To support this initiative, the District Educational Officer and District Project Officer, Samagra Shiksha, Hyderabad, issued a press note detailing the recruitment of instructors and aayas.
As notified, the recruitment will be on a temporary, honorarium basis, in accordance with the Department of School Education’s orders dated May 26, 2026. Instructors will receive Rs 8,000 per month, whilst aayas will be paid Rs 6,000 per month.
Eligibility criteria specify that instructors must have at least an Intermediate qualification, with preference given to those trained in Early Childhood Care or Nursery Training. Aayas must have passed at least the 7th class, with a clear preference for local women candidates. Only female applicants aged between 18 and 44 years are eligible, with age relaxations of 5 years for SC, ST, and BC, 3 years for veterans, and 10 years for PHC candidates.
The order of preference in selection prioritises candidates from the same locality, then the same mandal, and finally the same district. Interested candidates must submit their application in the prescribed format along with educational certificates, proof of address, national identity cards, and other required documents.
The submission window is open from June 9 to June 15, 2026, between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM, at the respective Mandal Educational Officer’s office. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. For further details and the school list, candidates can visit deohyderabad.org.
