Kisan Nyay Satyagraha held at Bapu Ghat

Hyderabad: The Rangareddy District Youth Congress under the leadership of its president, Nagender Reddy organised the Kisan Nyay Satyagraha Deeksha at Bapu Ghat against the India-US trade deal on Saturday. Youth Congress members and supporters participated in the programme, expressing solidarity with farmers.

All India Kisan Congress State Convener, Syed Abdul Sami Ather, said that the proposed US trade deal could adversely affect India’s agriculture and dairy sectors. He urged the government to safeguard farmers’ interests and adopt policies that ensure their long-term security.

The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to support farmers and protect the country’s agricultural system.
