The Pahadishareef Police have successfully recovered a total of 23 lost mobile phones using Central Equipment Identity Register technology. The recovered devices were handed over to their rightful owners at the police station premises on Friday.

The victims, who had earlier reported the loss or theft of their phones, expressed happiness and gratitude towards the police for their prompt response and dedicated efforts in tracing the devices. On this occasion, Inspector B Lakshmi Narayana Reddy, along with the Sub-Inspectors and the Crime Team, was appreciated by the ACP of RGI Division and the DCP of Shamshabad Zone for their commendable work and effective use of technology. This initiative reflects the proactive approach of the police in utilizing modern systems for public benefit.

Authorities advised citizens to immediately report stolen phones and use CEIR services to block and trace their devices.

This successful recovery underscores the importance of digital tools in modern policing and ensures that technology continues to serve as a vital asset in protecting the property of citizens across the state.
