Hyderabad: The “Plantation Run 2026,” organized by Ignite Junior Colleges & Schools, was successfully conducted in Near Miyapur Metro Station, Hyderabad on Saturday, witnessing enthusiastic participation from nearly 2,000 individuals. The Run seamlessly blended the spirit of fitness with a strong message of environmental responsibility.

The run featured multiple categories, including 10K, 5K, and 3K races, attracting participants across age groups. Winners in each category were recognized and awarded cash prizes, adding a competitive edge to the eco-conscious initiative.



The Programme was graced by several distinguished personalities, including former Indian cricketer MSK Prasad, Dronacharya Awardee Ramesh Nagapuri, Ashok Constructions Pvt. Ltd Chairman A. Ashok Kumar, TEDx & Motivational Speaker P. Krishna Chaitanya Reddy, Avantika Constructions Chairman Srinivasa Reddy, Sri Sri Holistic Hospitals Chairman Dr. V. S. Ramchandra Rao, and members of the Telangana Runners Group, including Jagan Mohan Reddy and Pannala Harish Chandra Reddy. Their presence inspired participants and underscored the significance of the initiative.

In a unique and impactful gesture, each participant was provided with a plant sapling. Following the run, attendees actively engaged in a plantation drive, reinforcing the event’s core message of building a greener and more sustainable future.

Speaking on the occasion, the founder of Ignite Junior Colleges & Schools, Ramesh, highlighted that the primary objective of the event is to raise awareness about environmental protection. He further noted that the funds collected through the event would be utilized for future plantation initiatives.

The “Plantation Run 2026” stood out as a meaningful community effort, combining health, awareness, and action toward environmental conservation.
