Three held in house burglary case
Kakinada: U Kothapalli police have cracked a house burglary case reported in Gorsa village in U Kothapalli mandal on August 21 and arrested a habitual offender along with two minors. According to police, a complaint was lodged by Nanduri Suryanarayana Rao after gold and silver articles and mobile phones were stolen from his house. Police registered a case and intensified the investigation.
During the probe, police took Avala Manikantha of Moolapeta, who was previously involved in several criminal cases, into custody along with two minors.
During questioning, the trio reportedly confessed to the burglary.
Police recovered 18 grams of gold, one kg of silver articles and two mobile phones from their possession.
CI Srinivas said Manikantha was produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody. Further investigation is underway.
