Doctor MLA's lead awareness event on World Health Day

On the World Health Day, MLAs Dr Vamsi Krishna and Dr Rajesh Reddy urged people to give special attention to their health.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Krishna said, “Health is the greatest wealth. A society can be healthy only when every individual is healthy. People should make proper use of the healthcare services provided by the government. Special focus should be given to maternal and child health, immunization programs, hygiene, and nutrition.”
Dr Reddy stated that the government is committed to providing better healthcare services even in rural areas. He said that medical services are being made accessible to people through Primary Health Centres and emphasized that awareness is crucial for preventing diseases at an early stage.
District Medical and Health Officer Dr K Ravi Kumar said that health programmes are being successfully implemented across the district, and the district has achieved good results, particularly in immunization programs.
The event was attended by Deputy DMHO Dr. Bharat Reddy, Program Officers Dr. Krishna Mohan and Dr. Suresh Babu, Legal Cell Authority representatives, RMO Dr. R. Shankar, Dr. Prashanth, Dr. Rohit, District Vaccine Store Manager Kumar, medical officers, supervisory staff, medical and nursing college students, ANMs, ASHA workers, and other staff.
