SBIT Khammam Students Get Rare Opportunity to Interact with Prime Minister Modi
The selected students represented Khammam district during the interaction, which provided them with a unique platform to engage directly with the Prime Minister on issues related to nation-building, youth leadership, social responsibility and India’s vision for becoming a developed nation by 2047.
Khammam : Ten students from the Swarna Bharati Institute of Science and Technology (SBIT), Khammam, have been selected to participate in an exclusive interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the My Bharat programme, organised as part of the Viksit Bharat-2047 initiative.
The selected students represented Khammam district during the interaction, which provided them with a unique platform to engage directly with the Prime Minister on issues related to nation-building, youth leadership, social responsibility and India’s vision for becoming a developed nation by 2047.
SBIT Chairman Gundala Krishna described the selection of the institute’s students as a matter of pride for the institution and the district. He said the opportunity reflected the students’ talent and the college’s commitment to nurturing future leaders.
Congratulating the participants, Secretary and Correspondent Dr G. Dhatri said the institution consistently encourages students to excel not only in academics but also in extracurricular activities, community service, leadership initiatives and national-level programmes. Such experiences, he said, help students develop confidence and strengthen their sense of responsibility towards the country’s progress.
Vice Chairman K. Srichaitanya said SBIT places equal emphasis on quality education, skill development, research, innovation, industry collaboration, value-based learning and holistic personality development. The institution’s objective, he added, is to prepare responsible citizens capable of contributing meaningfully to national development.
Principal Dr G. Raj Kumar congratulated the selected students and expressed gratitude to Khammam District Collector Divakar and District Youth Officer M. Venkat Rambabu for providing the students with the opportunity to participate in the prestigious programme.
Academic Directors Gundala Praveen Kumar, Gandham Srinivasa Rao and Dr A.V.V. Siva Prasad, along with other faculty members, were present on the occasion.
