Additional Collector seeks speedy redressal of Prajavani petitions
Nizamabad: Additional Collector V. Bhujanga Rao has directed officials to accord top priority to the speedy redressal of grievances received through the district-level Prajavani and Chief Minister’s Prajavani programmes. Addressing department heads at the weekly public grievance meeting held at the Integrated District Offices Complex (IDOC) on Monday, he instructed officials to dispose of petitions at the earliest and immediately upload the resolution status online.
A total of 107 grievances were received from citizens across the district. Bhujanga Rao stressed that no petition should remain pending and asked concerned departments to take prompt action.
District Revenue Officer Geetha, Zilla Parishad CEO Sayagoud, District Rural Development Officer Sayanna, District Panchayat Officer Srinivas Rao and Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner Chandrashekhar were among those present.
Referring to RTI Awareness Week from October 5 to 12, Bhujanga Rao directed officials to conduct awareness programmes at district, division and mandal levels to educate people about the Right to Information Act.
