Guide teacher D Sesharatnam with students, who excel in State-level competitions
Rajamahendravaram: Students of Rajampalem in Gopalapuram mandal of East Godavari district have secured top positions in State-level essay writing and debate competitions conducted by Varadhi Foundation.
Rayapati Sriram Durgaprasad, Mallipudi Praneetha and Samsani Cherry secured first place in essay writing and debate competitions at State level. Each student received a cash prize of Rs 12,000, with the three students together winning Rs 36,000.
In elocution competition, Patnala Haimavathi, Amalapuram Manaswini and Chanda Reshma Sri secured third place.
Each of them received Rs 8,000, taking the total prize money won by the three students to Rs 24,000.
The students were congratulated by DEO Kandi Vasudeva Rao, District Science Officer GVNS Nehru and AMO Y Lakshman Kumar.
They also appreciated guide teacher D Sesharatnam for her guidance and encouragement in preparing the students for the state-level competitions.
