Couple with 2 kids killed as car plunges into a well
Siddipet: A tragic road accident occurred on Wednesday night near Appanapalli village in Dubbak mandal when four members of the family died after their car plunged into a roadside well.
Dandugula Raju from Balwanthapur village was returning home from Siddipet, along with his wife and two children, when the accident happened. The family left Siddipet at around 7 pm, but when they did not reach home even by midnight, relatives informed the police. Using the cell phone location, the police traced the car and found it had fallen into a well near Appanapalli.
Since none noticed the car falling, all four --Dandugula Raju (30), his wife Bhagya (25), son Nihansh (four) and daughter Shanvika (two) --died on the spot. The police, along with rescue teams, retrieved the bodies during the night and shifted them to the area hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered.
The incident has caused deep grief in Balwanthapur and Appanapalli villages, with locals mourning the tragic loss.
