Visakhapatnam: Kindness doesn’t cost anything but it does strike a chord even with strangers. It was quite evident when a travel vlogger heading to Bhubaneswar from Visakhapatnam got down midway by mistake but was pleasantly impressed by the kindness showered on him by a bike service provider. A Rapido service provider came to his aid at an odd hour when he booked for a ride to get dropped 25-km away from where he could board the bus at 3:30 am.

Although the traveller has to commute a very long distance, the bike service provider agreed to ferry him at around 2:15 am. It did not end there. “He took me to a close by road-side eatery, 2-km away from the point I was waiting, where I ended up relishing the most flavourful egg-dosa I have ever tasted. He waited with me until I got the bus,” the traveller shared in the video he uploaded on the social media platforms, expressing gratitude to the bike-rider who also paid the bill for the food on his behalf. Taking to ‘X’ and Instagram, the traveller requested netizens to circulate the post as much as possible so that it reaches the bike rider even though he may not use any social media platform. “I have not seen such a good-hearted person like him who could treat a total stranger so generously,’” he commented.

As the Good Samaritan’s post was shared repeatedly, the 1.31-minute-long video post grabbed the attention of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who posted on his official social media handles with a caption, “Telugu people have hearts of gold.” Watching the video, netizens posted their memorable experiences with ‘Telugu’ people and how their kindness reaches out to even complete strangers.
