‘YSRCP is spitting venom on Amaravati’: Union Minister

Visakhapatnam: Union Civil Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu pointed out that by creating an air of uncertainty, the YSRCP intends to dissuade investors from viewing Andhra Pradesh as a promising State for investment and block job opportunities for the youth.
Addressing the media on Friday, the Union Minister criticised the previous YSRCP government alleging that whenever he attempted to initiate development works in the past, deliberate efforts were made to obstruct their progress.
Citing a host of development initiatives considered earlier, the Civil Aviation Minister and Srikakulam MP emphasised that irrespective of his position or location, his unwavering focus has always remained on the development of Srikakulam district.
Also, Ram Mohan Naidu expressed immense pride and satisfaction in achieving solutions to long-pending issues that had remained unresolved for over three decades, stating that his tenure at the Centre enabled him to deliver desired results.
Further, the Civil Aviation Minister accused the previous government of merely laying foundation stones without ensuring actual execution. “On the contrary, visible development across all sectors is quite apparent in the current NDA government’s performance,” he underlined.
Ram Mohan Naidu pointed out that YSRCP leaders confine themselves to delivering speeches and engaging in criticism rather than contributing anything constructive to the state.
Highlighting a significant political milestone, the Civil Aviation Minister noted that complete legal backing has now been granted to Amaravati as the state’s sole capital, with approval from both the Houses of Parliament and the President’s assent. With complete support from all parties, he described it as a historic victory for the people of Andhra Pradesh.
Even as efforts are underway to develop Amaravati into a world-class capital, he expressed displeasure over how the YSRCP is spitting venom on the capital city and opposed the Bill in Parliament.
