Collector Ila Tripathi inspects Kasturba Girls’ School in Varni

Collector Ila Tripathi on Tuesday visited Kasturba Gandhi Girls’ School at Kotayya Camp in Varni mandal and reviewed facilities and functioning. She inspected classrooms, checked attendance registers and examined the food menu being provided to students.

The Collector directed officials to ensure quality nutritious meals as per government norms and stressed maintaining cleanliness across the campus. She emphasised prioritising the safety of girl students and instructed that outsiders should not be allowed inside the premises, warning against negligence in duties.

Interacting with Class 7 students, she assessed their learning levels and distributed diaries, chocolates and gifts. She encouraged them to focus on studies and remain aware of personal safety, urging them to report issues without hesitation. She also assured allocation of necessary furniture, directed that the kitchen be kept clean and ordered immediate commencement of work on the newly sanctioned school building after inspecting the site.
