Adilabad police launch refresher training prog for 600 constables
Adilabad: The Adilabad district police on Monday launched a three-day refresher training programme for 600 civil constables to enhance policing skills and improve public service. District Superintendent of Police Akhil Mahajan, IPS, inaugurated the programme.
The training, to be conducted in 30 batches, covers investigation standards, Dial-100 services, crime control, beat policing, offender identification, firearms handling, cybercrime awareness, road safety, and the use of advanced technology in policing.
Addressing the participants, the SP urged police personnel to stay updated with laws, adopt modern policing practices, maintain discipline and physical fitness, and actively engage with the public to spread awareness on cybercrime, women’s safety, and traffic rules.
Additional SP P. Mounika, DSP L. Jeevan Reddy, DCRB SI Praveen, and other police officials attended the inaugural session.
