Are netas, brokers and corrupt officials stalling resurvey of TG lands?

Hyderabad: Netaslove singing paens to farmers before and after elections. But when it comes to the crunch, they drop annadatalu like hot potatoes.
The Telangana government announced in December 2025 that it has successfully conducted surveys in five villages which had no nakshas (maps) and that preparations are on in 373 villages to prepare nakshas.
Immediately, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy detailed that they will conduct a survey in 373 villages during the second phase, and, in the third phase, 70 villages in each district will be selected and Bhudhaar cards provided after the survey. Preparations began for the survey while selecting 70 villages in each district. The revenue authorities conducted special review meetings for the same. However, it is learnt that the state government suddenly changed the plan and launched the pilot project involving the new Integrated Bhu Bharati (i-Bhu Bharati) portal, saying that it will be expanded to one mandal in each district after a 45-day pilot phase in the five mandals with necessary modifications.
Launching the portal on a pilot basis at a gram sabha in Vithaipalle in Amangal mandal of Rangareddy district, Srinivas Reddy said the pilot project is being implemented in five select mandals viz. Kusumanchi in Khammam, Aswaraopet in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Vatpally in Sangareddy, and Kosgi in Narayanpet districts.
