Bus Collides with Ambulance on NH44 in Kamareddy, Two Dead

A tragic road accident on National Highway 44 claimed two lives on the outskirts of Rameshwarpalli village in Bikkunur Mandal of Kamareddy district.

According to officials, a private travel bus collided with an ambulance from behind while it was transporting a patient to Adilabad after she had received medical treatment in Hyderabad. The impact proved fatal for the patient, identified as 63-year-old Saleha Bhanu, and the ambulance driver, both of whom died at the scene.

The patient’s husband, who was also travelling in the ambulance, sustained serious injuries. He was immediately shifted to the Kamareddy District Government Hospital for treatment.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
