Medchal tops, Siricilla trails in Inter results

HyderabadL The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has released the district-wise results of the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) March 2026, revealing significant variations in performance across the state.
In the General Stream (second year regular), Medchal district emerged as the top performer with an overall pass percentage of 82.73%, closely, followed by Jayashanker Bhoopalapalli (82.34%), Komram Bheem Asifabad (82.16%), and Mulugu (82.12%). Ranga Reddy also recorded a strong performance at 81.61%.
On the other end of the spectrum, Rajanna (Siricilla) registered the lowest pass percentage at 58.69%, followed by Warangal (60.80%), Adilabad (62.50%), Kamareddy (63.09%), and Siddipet (63.81%), highlighting areas where academic support and interventions may be needed.
In the vocational stream (second year regular), Jayashanker Bhoopalapalli stood out with an impressive 94.78% pass rate among girls and an overall pass percentage of 84.44%, making it the best-performing district in this category. Other high scorers included Komram Bheem Asifabad (88.07%), Narayanpet (86.43%), Medak (85.34%), and Mulugu (83.41%).
Conversely, Jangaon recorded the lowest vocational pass percentage at 63.97%, followed by Mahabubabad (65.03%), Kamareddy (65.76%), Suryapet (65.81%), and Siddipet (66.18%).
The results highlighted the disparities in educational outcomes across districts, with urban centres like Medchal and Ranga Reddy leading, while several rural districts continue to face challenges.
