The Southwest Monsoon is advancing vigorously. The Visakhapatnam Meteorological Centre stated that it has extended to further areas across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. It indicated that conditions are favorable for the monsoon to spread to the remaining regions over the next two to three days.

A cyclonic circulation persists from the west-central Bay of Bengal to the North Coastal Andhra region. Additionally, another cyclonic circulation and a trough have formed over the South Coastal region, extending across Telangana. Under the influence of these systems, the Meteorological Centre forecast light to moderate rainfall across Andhra Pradesh.

"Heavy rain is likely at one or two places today in the districts of Alluri Sitarama Raju, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema, West Godavari, Krishna, Prakasam, and Nellore.

On Friday, heavy rain is expected at isolated locations in the districts of Alluri Sitarama Raju, Eluru, NTR, Krishna, Nandyal, Kadapa, Anantapur, Annamayya, and Tirupati. Gusty winds with speeds ranging from 40 to 50 kmph are also likely in some areas," the Meteorological Centre stated.
