Mumbai: Actor, dancer and television personality Jaaved Jaaferi has distanced himself from the ongoing controversy surrounding actor Ranveer Singh and the much-discussed developments related to *Don 3*, stating that he prefers to focus on his own work and believes the matter will eventually be resolved.

Speaking exclusively to one of the leading news agencies, Jaaved Jaaferi responded to questions regarding the controversy and made it clear that he was not directly involved in the issue. He said he was unaware of the details of the dispute and saw no reason to comment extensively on a matter that did not concern him professionally.

“I don't even know what kind of controversy it is. I should focus on my work. What should I do in this controversy? Neither am I Ranveer Singh's secretary, nor am I any producer or director. So what will I do? All I know is that he is a good friend and does good work. Whatever has happened will be sorted out,” Jaaved said.

The controversy surrounding Ranveer Singh and Don 3 has dominated entertainment headlines in recent weeks following reports that the actor had exited the highly anticipated action franchise being developed by filmmaker Farhan Akhtar.

According to reports, after Ranveer Singh's reported departure from the project, Excel Entertainment, the production house co-founded by Farhan Akhtar, maintained that significant pre-production work had already been completed for the film.

The issue gained further attention when the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) reportedly issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh following a complaint linked to his alleged withdrawal from the project.

However, the situation took a positive turn after mediation efforts by the Producers Guild of India, CINTAA and other industry bodies. FWICE subsequently withdrew the non-cooperation directive, paving the way for discussions aimed at resolving the dispute amicably.

Reports have also suggested that Ranveer Singh responded through legal channels, after which talks were initiated between the concerned parties to find a mutually acceptable solution.

While speculation continues regarding the future of Don 3, Jaaved Jaaferi's remarks reflect a belief that the matter will ultimately be settled through dialogue and industry cooperation.
