Reflecting on the experience, Tacker wrote, “BTS of one of the hardest days I’ve had on set. A 900-ft dam, multiple climbs, four action sequences, 15 hours, and 3°C weather that left us completely drenched. Bruised, exhausted, and running on pure adrenaline by the end of it.

Mumbai: Actor Karan Tacker has revealed the intense physical challenges he faced while filming a high-octane action sequence atop a 900-foot dam for the espionage thriller series “Special Ops 2”.

Taking to Instagram, the actor shared behind-the-scenes footage from what he described as one of the most demanding days of his career. The sequence involved multiple climbs, four action setups, a 15-hour shooting schedule, and freezing temperatures of around 3°C, leaving the cast and crew drenched and exhausted.

But moments like these remind me why I fell in love with this craft in the first place. Worth every ache.”

The shared clip showed the actor performing several intense action stunts as part of the challenging shoot. The sequence forms part of “Special Ops 2”, in which Tacker reprised his role as Farooq Ali, an undercover field operative working for India's external intelligence agency, R&AW.

Farooq Ali plays a pivotal role in the series, carrying out high-risk international missions under the leadership of Himmat Singh, portrayed by veteran actor Kay Kay Menon. The spy thriller premiered on JioHotstar on July 18 and continued the popular franchise created by filmmaker Neeraj Pandey.

Karan Tacker began his acting journey with a brief appearance in the 2008 Bollywood film “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”. He later entered television with shows such as “Love Ne Mila Di Jodi” and “Rang Badalti Odhani”. However, it was his performance in “Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai” that earned him widespread recognition and established him as a household name.

In recent years, Tacker successfully transitioned to digital entertainment. His portrayal of an undercover intelligence officer in the acclaimed web series “Special Ops” in 2020 received significant praise from audiences and critics alike. He subsequently returned in “Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story” in 2021 and later starred as IPS officer Amit Lodha in the critically acclaimed series “Khakee: The Bihar Chapter” in 2022.

Most recently, the actor was seen in “Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery”, further expanding his repertoire across genres.
