The makers of the upcoming multilingual entertainer Police Complaint have made serious allegations against some of the film’s lead actors during the movie’s pre-release event held in Hyderabad. The film, which blends horror, action, thriller, comedy, and romance, is scheduled for a worldwide release in Telugu and Kannada on June 12.

Directed by Sanjeev Megoti and produced by Balakrishna Maharana under the MSK Pramida Sri Films banner, the film revolves around an intriguing concept titled “Chain Reaction of Karma.” Speaking at the event, director Sanjeev Megoti expressed disappointment over the alleged lack of support from actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar during the film’s promotional campaign.

According to the director, the actress played one of the most significant roles in the movie and was provided every possible convenience during production. However, he claimed that she was unavailable even for dubbing schedules at times and did not participate in promotional activities despite prior commitments. Megoti stated that the team had requested only a brief appearance for promotions but received no response, adding that the situation had negatively impacted the film’s marketing efforts.

Actor Krishna Sai echoed similar concerns, alleging that both Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Naveen Chandra did not cooperate with promotional activities despite agreements being in place. He, however, expressed confidence in the film’s content and predicted a strong response from audiences.

The event also featured actress Krithi Verma and Baby Tanushree, who thanked the director and team for their support. Balaji Sharma, personal PRO of Superstar Krishna, highlighted a special tribute song dedicated to the legendary actor and said it would evoke nostalgia among fans.

With its trailer and songs already generating attention, Police Complaint has created curiosity among moviegoers. The film’s success will now depend on how audiences respond when it hits theatres on June 12.
