Dubai is all set to turn up the excitement this summer as Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2026 returns from July 2 to August 30 with its biggest and most value-packed edition ever. Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), this year’s festival invites residents and tourists alike to “Make it a Dubai Summer” with 60 days of unbeatable shopping offers, entertainment, dining experiences, family attractions, and rewarding promotions across the city.
DSS 2026 will feature a dynamic retail calendar packed with massive discounts, exclusive promotions, flash sales, and exciting mall experiences. One of the biggest highlights is The Great Dubai Summer Sale, where shoppers can enjoy discounts of up to 90 percent on leading brands across fashion, electronics, beauty, lifestyle, and more. Adding to the excitement, the Back-to-School shopping season from August 3 to 30 will offer incredible deals on school essentials, student gadgets, fashion, and electronics, helping families prepare for the new academic year at affordable prices.
A major new addition this year is the launch of “Win Your Home in Dubai,” a first-of-its-kind citywide initiative introduced by DFRE in collaboration with Dubai Chambers and Binghatti Developers. Shoppers who spend AED 500 or more at participating outlets will get the opportunity to win one of 12 residential units, including 11 studio apartments and a grand prize of a luxurious two-bedroom apartment. Running during key retail seasons such as Eid Al Adha and DSS, the campaign transforms everyday shopping into a life-changing opportunity, with the first winner set to be announced during DSS 2026.
Entertainment will once again play a major role throughout the festival. DSS 2026 will bring back the highly popular Beat the Heat DXB concert series along with a variety of live performances and community events across the city. One of the standout shows this year will be the Miami Musical Show at Coca-Cola Arena on August 28, marking the group’s first-ever performance outside Kuwait. Tickets are already available on Platinumlist, while additional concerts and live events are expected to be announced soon.
Dubai’s malls and attractions will also host immersive themed experiences and family-friendly entertainment throughout the summer. Families can look forward to the return of Modesh World at Dubai World Trade Centre, along with opening weekend celebrations across major malls featuring exclusive performances and roaming entertainment. DSS Performing Arts Fest, a new concept introduced this year, will bring live performances and community activations to malls over three weeks.
Food lovers can enjoy the return of Summer Restaurant Week from July 13 to August 2, followed by the popular 10 Dirham Dish campaign from August 3 to 30.
Fitness enthusiasts can participate in Summer Mallathons, offering indoor fitness activities during the hotter months. DSS 2026 will also debut the first-ever Back-to-School Carnival from August 7 to 8, transforming shopping malls into vibrant family entertainment destinations.
Supported by key sponsors and strategic partners including Emirates Airline, ENOC, e&, Majid Al Futtaim, Al Futtaim Malls, talabat, and many others, DSS 2026 promises an unforgettable summer filled with shopping, entertainment, dining, and extraordinaryrewards across Dubai.
