Jay Bhanushali feels positive after Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar temple

Popular television actor Jay Bhanushali recently visited the sacred Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, where he participated in the renowned Bhasma Aarti ritual and described the experience as spiritually uplifting and emotionally fulfilling. The actor said he had always wished to attend the ritual after hearing about its significance from friends and family over the years.
Speaking to the media after the ceremony, Jay shared that being part of the Bhasma Aarti at the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga was a memorable moment in his life. He revealed that people close to him had often spoken about the unique spiritual energy one experiences after attending the ritual, and he finally understood that feeling for himself. “Today I got the opportunity to participate in the Bhasma Aarti. I feel extremely happy and I am taking a lot of positive energy from here,” Jay said during his visit to Ujjain. He further added that devotees had often told him that attending the ritual changes a person’s aura, and he now felt the same transformation within himself. Ending his interaction on a devotional note, the actor chanted “Jai Shri Maha Kaal.”
The Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the most revered shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, is among the twelve Jyotirlingas in India and attracts thousands of devotees every year. The early morning Bhasma Aarti is considered one of the temple’s most powerful and sacred rituals, drawing pilgrims and celebrities alike.
On the professional front, Jay Bhanushali remains a well-known face in Indian television and reality entertainment. He gained popularity through hit television shows such as “Kayamath” and later became a familiar name through reality programs including “Nach Baliye 5,” “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2,” “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7,” and “Bigg Boss 15.” Apart from television, Jay also explored Bollywood with his debut in Vishal Pandya’s thriller “Hate Story 2” in 2014. The film featured actors Surveen Chawla and Sushant Singh and went on to gain attention as a sequel to the successful “Hate Story.” He later appeared in films like “Desi Kattey” and “Ek Paheli Leela.”
Jay was last seen in the television drama “Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum” in 2024, which was adapted from the popular Turkish series “İstanbullu Gelin.”
