He stated that YISU has not introduced any program without strong industry collaboration, ensuring students receive relevant and job-oriented training.

Elaborating on the newly launched programs, the Vice Chancellor highlighted that the B.Tech in Applied Life Sciences is developed in collaboration with leading organizations such as Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Hetero, and Bharat Biotech. He explained that students will undergo classroom training only in the first semester, while the remaining semesters will be dedicated to hands-on training within partner companies. The program ensures world-class professional training, with the final year focused on internships. Students will also have opportunities to pursue higher education abroad after graduation.

The Vice Chancellor further spoke about the B.Sc. in Cardiovascular Sciences, launched in collaboration with AIG Hospitals. He stated that students will receive direct training within the hospital environment under expert medical professionals. He added that once trained at AIG Hospitals, students will be equipped with skills that can help them secure employment anywhere in the country, making the program highly career-oriented.

Highlighting the benefits for students, he mentioned that these programs are designed to create strong employment opportunities for youth in Telangana, especially for students from the MPC stream, encouraging them to take advantage of these industry-integrated courses.

As part of the initiative, YISU also unveiled its Digital Learning Universe, powered by Tutorials Point. The Vice Chancellor noted that online learning is rapidly expanding globally, and this platform is being introduced to help individuals learn new skills at their own pace. The AI-driven platform will provide flexible learning opportunities with a focus on delivering high-quality content aligned with industry needs.

He emphasized that the university aims to move away from textbook-oriented education and instead focus on skill-based training. The Digital Learning Universe will initially offer around 75 courses across diverse domains such as Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Human Resources, Soft Skills, and Ethical Hacking.

The Vice Chancellor also shared that the fee structure for the programs has been designed to be accessible, with approximately ₹1.75 lakh per year for the B.Tech program and ₹1 lakh per year for the B.Sc. program.
