Federal Bank announces Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarship results for 2025–26

Bengaluru ; Federal Bank has announced the results of the prestigious Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarships for the academic year 2025–26, selecting 500 students from seven states for financial assistance under its flagship educational support programme.
The list of selected candidates has been published on the bank’s official website. The scholarship programme, launched in 2005, is one of Federal Bank’s major Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and was established in memory of the bank’s founder, Late K.P. Hormis.
The scholarship aims to support meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who are pursuing full-time professional courses. Eligible disciplines include MBBS, BE/BTech/BArch, BSc Nursing, BSc Agriculture, BDS, BVSc, and MBA/PGDM programmes.
According to the bank, the initiative has played a significant role in helping students pursue higher education and build careers in key sectors of the economy. Since its inception, the scholarship programme has benefited 2,460 students up to the 2024–25 academic year.
For the 2025–26 academic year, Federal Bank received an overwhelming response, with 3,610 applications submitted from seven states—Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. After a rigorous selection process, 500 deserving students were chosen to receive financial assistance.
Federal Bank stated that the scholarship programme reflects its long-standing commitment to promoting inclusive education and empowering talented students who face financial constraints.
