Helmet safety and anti-drug awareness drive led by SP in Gudur
SP Dr. Shabarish promotes road safety in Gudur by distributing helmets and launches a reward programme for information leading to the curbing of illegal ganja transportation.
Superintendent of Police Dr. Shabarish participated in a helmet awareness programme at the Gudur Gram Panchayat office on Wednesday and distributed helmets to panchayat staff.
Addressing the gathering, the SP stressed the importance of wearing helmets, noting that many young lives are lost in road accidents due to negligence. He also praised village sarpanches who have adopted the “No Helmet, No Entry” campaign. Warning against drug trafficking, Dr. Shabarish announced a reward of Rs 5,000 for anyone providing credible information on illegal ganja transportation and assured complete confidentiality for informants.
