Hanumakonda: The Telangana government has continued to prioritise agriculture and power requirements through major infrastructure investments and welfare initiatives, leaders said during the inauguration of power projects in Station Ghanpur constituency on Tuesday.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka inaugurated and laid foundation stones for power infrastructure works and new substations worth Rs 60.62 crore in Jangaon district.

Speaking on the occasion, MP Kadiyam Kavya said the government fulfilled its promise of public welfare by implementing the Gruha Jyothi scheme soon after assuming office. She described the provision of 200 units of free electricity to eligible households as a historic decision that has brought relief to poor and middle-class families.
