Modi elevated India as global economic power: Gorantla

Puttaparthi: Highlighting a historic political milestone, BJP Sri Sathya Sai District President Gorantla Mohan Shekhar announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially become India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister.
By completing 4,399 consecutive days in office on Wednesday during his third term, PM Modi surpassed the 4,398-day record of uninterrupted service held by India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, as an elected head of government.
Mohan Shekhar remarked that over the past 12 years, the Prime Minister has elevated India into a global economic and military power while steadfastly preserving cultural heritage.
The district chief noted that despite global recessions, India’s economy has expanded threefold under a welfare-driven approach aiming for a Viksit Bharat by 2047. To celebrate the milestone, local BJP cadres organized mass prayer meetings and temple archanas across t he district.
