Is Chiranjeevi planning a birthday surprise for his fans?

Though Vishwambhara, the latest Telugu film of the Megastar Chiranjeevi was one of the most anticipated movies, there hasn't been an update about this flick in quite some time. However, it is now being reported that the makers have planned a birthday surprise as his birthday falls on the release window for the film.

Interestingly, Vishwambhara was set to release prior to Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which not only released first but also turned out to be a phenomenal hit at the box office.

However, it seems that the wait for Vishwambhara might just end on August 22 which happens to be Chiranjeevi's birthday.

As per the latest rumors doing rounds, makers of the flick have reportedly locked the first week of October 2026 for the film's release as a birthday surprise for the fans.

Furthermore, the team has been working on the film's VFX so that movie lovers can experience best visual treat. Although the film's release date hasn't been officially confirmed by the producers yet, the film has been postponed multiple times.

The fantasy entertainer that stars Trisha and is directed by Mallidi Vasishta. Aashika Ranganath, Ramya Pasupuleti, Esha Chawla, and Ashrita Vemuganti Nanduri are also a part of the star cast. The music of the film has been composed by MM Keeravani.

For now, the fans would have to wait till August 22, 2026 to know if Chiranjeevi's birthday will truly turn out to be a surprise for the viewers who have been waiting for Vishwambhara to hit the screens for a long time now.
