Hyderabad:India’s golden future rests in the hands of teachers, who educate students in classrooms, said Bodanapally Venugopal Reddy, CEO, T-SAT, SoFTNET.
Addressing teachers at the Capacity-Building Programme organised under PM eVidya here on Tuesday, Venugopal Reddy exuded confidence that providing students with quality educational content would improve their learning and lead to better outcomes. He reminded teachers that their responsibility extends beyond providing quality digital content to encouraging students to watch and benefit from it.
The CEO appealed to teachers to support the five channels provided by the Central Government under PM eVidya, just as they support the T-SAT channels operated by the Telangana Government. He emphasised that digital content plays a crucial role in shaping the nation’s future. Venugopal Reddy said that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was giving special attention to education through increased funding and actively promoting digital learning.
Prof. Abhay Kumar, In-charge of PM eVidya Digital Channels, New Delhi, said that the Central Government had allocated five digital channels to Telangana to support primary, secondary and higher education. He urged teachers to take the initiative in ensuring that students make effective use of the digital educational content broadcast through these channels. T-SAT Executive Director Md. Sadiq was also present.
