Shivamogga : An 85-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after shooting himself with his own firearm at Tattekodlu near Nittur village in Hosanagara taluk of Shivamogga district.

The deceased has been identified as Ramachandra Rao, a resident of Tattekodlu. According to police, the incident occurred inside a room in his house, where he allegedly used his firearm to shoot himself.
