After the announcement of the Google Hyperscale AI Data Centre, Vizag has gained special recognition on the global map. The state government succeeded in bringing Google to Visakhapatnam. Doubts persist over data centres
Global companies are now eyeing Visakhapatnam to set up data centres one after another. Apart from infrastructure development, global connectivity is another major advantage of these centres. However, several misconceptions about data centers are brewing among various sections of people. The government should take responsibility for clearing the air and setting things straight.

Boon to North Andhra jobless youth
With the establishment of data centres, numerous allied industries will emerge in and around Visakhapatnam. They will not only improve the industrial landscape but also enhance employment opportunities for the youth, blocking migration significantly. Opportunities are plenty for the youth of North Andhra to get employed in multinational companies now.

Farmers wait for fulfilment of promises
The government did not fulfill the promises made to farmers who sacrificed their lands for establishing data centres. Till now, there are farmers who did not receive even a single rupee as compensation. They were assured 20 cents of alternate land, a shop at commercial complex and a job before their asset was received. All these promises must immediately fulfill all these promises and deliver justice to them for their great sacrifices

North Andhra makes rapid strides across all sectors
North Andhra has been witnessing immense development in the past two years like never before. Along with industries, priority is given to the IT sector, data centres and infrastructure development. Growth is visible across all sectors, more so in these areas. Even as the transformation brings certain challenges, the government has the capability to sort them out with ease.
