Eluru: Stating that leadership brings responsibility, Dr Venu Gopala Raju, Dean & Director, IQAC, Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences, Eluru, urged students to uphold values, work in unity with their peers, and strive to reach greater heights.

He attended the student investiture ceremony held at St Theresa’s Autonomous Women’s College here on Thursday. He emphasised that team leaders should enthusiastically collaborate with their members, and that perseverance, discipline, and a hardworking attitude are the true stepping stones to success.

On this occasion, the newly elected student union president Kumari Jnani Jain, along with her executive committee, pledged to discharge their duties responsibly and contribute to the college’s progress with noble values. College correspondent Mother Ernestein Fernandez highlighted that leadership reveals the true potential of students and stressed the importance of impartiality, honesty, and team spirit.

Principal Dr Sunila Rani Pudota advised the student representatives to work with strategic planning, problem-solving skills, and accountability. Student union secretary Souda Siddiqui presented a report of the activities conducted since the beginning of the academic year, after which the college management felicitated Dr Venu Gopala Raju.
