Archaeologist Dr. E Siva Nagireddy’s latest book, 'Mile stones in the History of Telangana,' was unveiled at the 19th American Telugu Association (ATA) conference in Baltimore, highlighting rare historical and archaeological discoveries.
Hyderabad: ‘Mile stones in the History of Telangana’, written by archaeologist E Siva Nagireddy was released at the 19th American Telugu Association (ATA) held at Baltimore Convention Centre on Saturday. The book, which highlights the landmark discoveries of archaeology and history was released jointly by Venu Nakshatram, Chair, ATA Literary Wing and Telangana Department of Language and Culture Director E Narasimha Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Venu Nakshatram said that the book encapsules the landmark discoveries in the history and archaeology of Telangana, which do not find place in regular history textbooks.
ATA President Jayanth Challa, President Elect Satish Reddy Ramasahayam, and Sridhar Banala congratulated Dr Siva Nagireddy for his outstanding contribution in the field of archaeology and history of Telangana for the past 40 years. Surya Nampelly, Rajeswara Rao Tekmal, Venkat Krishna Reddy Gujjula, Rajkumar participated in the programme.
