BJP hails Modi’s 12-yr rule

offer special prayers and planted saplings at temple to mark the occasion
Khammam: BJP leaders on Wednesday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for becoming the longest-serving Prime Minister, stating that his 12-year tenure reflects India’s remarkable progress across sectors.
Marking the occasion, BJP workers offered special prayers and planted saplings at the Sri Abhaya Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Khammam. BJP district president Nelluri Koteswara Rao and Kisan Morcha national executive member Goli Masoodan Reddy said Modi had surpassed the tenure record of Jawaharlal Nehru and completed 4,399 days in office.
They said the Modi government had transformed governance through transparency, direct benefit transfers and large-scale welfare programmes. The leaders highlighted reforms such as the National Education Policy, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, infrastructure expansion, digital governance and initiatives aimed at strengthening India’s global standing.
They claimed that India witnessed unprecedented growth in roads, railways, manufacturing and defence production during the past decade. According to them, schemes such as PM Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Kisan, Ayushman Bharat and Jal Jeevan Mission had directly benefited millions of people.
They also asserted that the Centre extended substantial support to Telangana through increased tax devolution, railway projects, national highways and institutions such as AIIMS Bibinagar. Several party leaders and workers participated in the celebrations.
